This is excerpt one of a story I'm writing. It is inspired by, and a present for my dearest Sephorah but I thought that I would post it here, as a bit of much needed cheeriness.
" One day, just as the sun was coming up, at the softest warmest moments of dawn it shone its beams across the face of a sweet little kitten-girl. She lay in her bed, which was quaint and snug, and inside her head there were magical dreams, of emerald grasses and the most luminous cerulean skies. In her dreams the kitten-girl was loved. by the king of that land - whose kisses tasted of ripest strawberries and whose skin glowed like the palest ivory, but was soft like butterfly wings to touch. The kitten-girl loved him in return, deeply and passionately, for thiers was a land of magic and light, where rain was a blessing from the heavens and lonliness could never intrude."
" When the sun in his glory was the sleeping kitten-girl and beheld the beauty of her dreams he paused in amazement. For moments on end he held perfectly still almost not daring to even breathe lest he wake her and dispell the scenes unfolding in her head. He was... fascinated. "
