1. What time did you get up this morning? 12:07pm
2. Diamonds or Pearls? not a huge fan of either but each has its place.
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Underworld II. Everyone i
went with was dissapointed but i thought that it was lovely. I went into it
expecting no plot and lots of great footage of Kate Beckinsdale in rubber
and fangs. That's exactly what I got and it was fabulous!
4. What is your favorite TV show? going to have to stick to new stuff or the
list will get too long. Probably "Full Metal Alchemist" and "Boondocks".
5. What did you have for breakfast? a bowl of beef stew (to be fair i eat
breakfast at 1:30 in the afternoon) and afterward a cup of very delicious
coffee.
6. What is your middle name? Marie
7. What is your favorite cuisine? Sushi & Thai. - but traditional german
food makes me both VERY happy and very teary-eyed (its what my great
grandmother used to cook for me as a child).
8. What foods do you dislike? synthetic stuff... box dinner, mac & cheese,
lil' debbie, Mc Donalds if its more than once a month or so.. you get the
picture.
9. Your favorite Potato chip? close tie between ruffles sour cream 'n'
cheadder and pickle chips.
10. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Sisters of Mercy - "Vision
Thing"
11. What kind of car do you drive? car = 1990 Honda Civic. MOTORCYCLE =
1980 Honda CM400T (notice which one is far more important! *L*)
12. Favorite sandwich? dunno. possibly turkey lettuce tomato and miracle
whip on toasted rye.
13. What characteristics do you despise? refusal to accept responsibility
for ones own actions / things that happen to you in life -- but then I'm a
bill collector so that is probably typical since we deal with a lot of that.
For example, I had a 30 something call me up and scream at me for 10 minutes
today because we were calling her mother (who had been nice enough to sign
up for an account with my company so that her daughter could have our
product) about the bill on the account (which she -daughter- was supposed to
be paying but hadn't for THREE MONTHS) IN THE MOTHER'S NAME - to let said
mother know that if at least $xx.xx of it wasn't payed by x/x/06 we were
going to close the account and might send it to collections afterward -
which would affect THE MOTHER's credit, not the daughter's. -- Daughter
literally screamed at me for informing her mother of the status of the
account. not bullying her. or trying to intimidate her. just letting her
know what was going on. because her mother was a "sweet old lady" and
didn't need to be "threatened" by B*itches like me. That she [daughter] was
supposed to be paying the bill so she wanted us to "Never" call HER MOTHER
(can you hear the shrill huffing and puffing?) about the account [in her
mother's name]. ever again.
To my credit I apologized many times that she was upset but advised her that
unfortunately since it was her mother's account we would not be able to
cease contact with her about it - which of course would only encite a new
barrage of screaming. .. Finally I broke down and told her that if she
wanted us to not contact her mother for collections purposes ever. again.
she should make sure that the bill was never past due. ever. again. I had
the momentary gratification of hearing her *GASP* and then not be able to
speak before the phone was righteous slammed down in my ear. it was great!
-- The trouble is that i know way too many people out there who would have
thought that she was totally in the right: that i was a big fat meanie bill
collector. People who would have never seen through that situation and
realized that if that girl had paid the bill in the first place I wouldn't
have had the Extremely Unpleasant task of telling an old lady that she might
go to oca bc her daughter deserted her.
14. What are your favorite clothes? let's narrow that down to currently

of my prickly adolescent pride.
43. Favorite day of the week? Friday
44. Favorite restaurant? Thai Pothong in Sydney Australia
(http://www.thaipothong.com.au/) to. die. for. delicious. and keeping the

american dollar) they are really cheap too!
45. Favorite flower? orange blossom, night blooming jasmine, rose, lilly of
the valley, flowering almond
46. Favorite ice cream? raspberry sorbet.
48. Favorite fast food restaurant? the sydney area chain "north indian
Diner" The food is amazingly tasty (better than either of the local
fancyschmantsy indian restaurants) and its CHEAP! For 5 dollars I used to
be able to get enough food to make me so full that my tummy hurt and then
bring the leftovers home to my sweety for dinner. Here's a review i just
found online: "The Newtown area of Sydney is littered with a wide variety of
ethnic restaurants including Indian, Thai, and Chinese. The best bargain in
the neighborhood is the North Indian Diner on King Street in the heart of
Newtown. For A$4.50 you can get any three vegetarian entrees with rice. Meat
dishes are slightly more expensive. Excellent appetizers include somosa's
and the sweet kashmiri naan. The atmosphere at the North Indian Diner is
very casual and the location is great for people-watching "

bar of the restaurant downstairs from my work (food + smoking = rare &
precious) - it also happens to be the most popular local bar among the kind
